S.S.A. collage paintings were created with acrylic paint using a scissors
to cut and paste to paste. Ted's early work was created in the darkroom. Our
work now is done with without the scissors or conventional paste. Part of the fascination with Astor's visual abundance
comes from attempting to identify the many individual images in the work.
